For my birthday coming up in December 😉 I’ve been dying to get a new, fashionable, and functional camera bag. Lugging around the one I have is just ridiculous, it is way to heavy and big for what I need. One bag that I have had my eye on for a while is the Kelly Moore Bag. I’m in love with the style of them all but leaning towards the Hobo. They offer plenty of storage for me and also little pockets on the outside for my phone and cards. Now to just decide on what color…??
Autumn is my favorite season out of the whole year. I love the chilly weather, sweaters, colorful leaves, everything. During the summer it is too hot to go outside and do anything, especially run around the park with Ollie. But now we go to the park a lot. And Ollie loves it. His favorite things are usually the slides and playing in the sand. I’m excited for when Liam grows up and they can play together and use their imaginations, pretending they can’t touch the sand or the alligators will get you like I did with my sister.
Brett usually is the one that puts Oliver to bed, but when I would or when Oliver wakes up from a nightmare, screaming at the top of his lungs.. my trick has been to sing to him. I have found his favorite is Silent Night. I love it. I feel motherly.
I love being a mommy 🙂
sidenote: Celtic Woman is pretty much AMAZING. They do the telethon-fundraiser with PBS each year and Brett thinks I’m such a nerd for watching it.
We are now a legit family.
Having two kids makes us no longer a starter family. We’re a family of four!
We now say ‘the kids’ as opposed to just ‘Oliver’.
We have a DOUBLE jogging stroller.
We have two car-seats and now feel like we need a larger vehicle, AGAIN.
I just received TWO, red velvet stockings from Pottery Barn with the names Oliver & Liam embroidered on them.
All three rooms upstairs are occupied.
In my diaper bag I have two sizes of diapers, a binky for one boy and a buzz lightyear for the other, a bottle, a sippy and a TON of wipes.
My laundry load has increased as well as the love in our home.
We are legit.
The week before Liam arrived I did a HUGE grocery shopping trip, knowing I wouldn’t be going again for a while. And somehow while unloading the groceries at home, we came across this magazine. Brett thinks some kids put it in my cart as a joke or something. Oliver saw Brett looking at it and so he wanted to see what was so interesting.
Brett’s mom came up for a visit from Texas for a week. I didn’t get many photos because while she was here helping out we were catching up on some much needed sleep. 🙂
One night while Margaret was here Brett took me out on a date and we saw RED. Way good.
The week before Halloween our ward did their Trunk-or-Treat. Personally, I have resented Trunk-or-Treats’ because I blame it for killing Trick or Treat, but as long as you still go Trick-or-Treating then it’s all good.
