Good news for the New Year.

We had the privilege of having Matt and Allison come visit and spend the New Year’s weekend with us! Matt is one of Brett’s best friends and Allison is his sister and they got engaged just before Christmas! Everyone is super excited to have Matt join the family. While they were here we went and took some engagement photos for them. It turned out to be super duper cold so we were shivering our tails off! We can’t wait to see them again at their wedding this coming May in TEXAS!

Whatever was on TV must’ve been very interesting for Oli and Matt.

Toys and The big 2-3.

Oliver was in heaven with his Toy Story figurine collection Ga Ga got him. Now he even makes them kiss, it’s so cute.

On the 27th of December we celebrated my 23rd birthday. It was fantastic! We ordered out to Famous Daves, mom made my requested cake Pineapple Coconut, and I got mullah and my oh so lovely Kelly Moore camera bag.

Cairi starting blowing out my candles half way through the song. It was really funny 🙂

Christmas Eve & Christmas Day.

We had a wonderful Christmas celebrating with our family. On Christmas Eve we continued our tradition and got together to open up our Christmas pj’s. When Brett and I got home we put the kids to sleep, put on the Polar Express, and started setting up. I absolutely LOVE just laying in the family room with the Christmas tree lights glowing. Brett and I need to cherish these times that we can still sleep in till 9 o’clock because once the kids get into Christmas and all the excitement I know they will waking us up way early like I used to do.
Later that day we headed to Gaga’s house and enjoyed opening MORE gifts. Oliver loved all the chocolate he got and his awesome new wagon. We can’t wait to take that out when it get’s warmer. It even has a canopy!!

Oliver’s Room

We are slowly getting Oliver’s room put together. For the most part it’s done, but I still want to make some new curtains with a fun pattern on it, and get some cool artwork. I absolutely love the color we ended up going with for his room. When we found out we were having another boy we decided it would be ok to go with blue, because when Liam moves in this room with Oliver it will just be a fun, boy hangout. At first it was a little awkward being a long, narrow room but it worked out great in the end. Oliver has his sleeping area and play area.

For now his be is just on the box spring, since that makes it high already. He has a cute little stool he uses to get up and loves his big boy bed.

Christmas Lights.

We did our traditional stroll through the Christmas lights. It’s fun to see what new lights they add. This year was a car tunnel that you could drive through which turned out to be great. It was pretty much freezing but we had fun with the family.
