what’s for dinner.

yes, i sit indian style at the dinner table, not proper, but very comfy.

it has been pretty  nice out lately and i’m loving it.  i feel as though i am solar powered, the sunnier it is, the more energy and motivation i have to get things done. i’m itchin to get started on our garden and fix up the front yard, but it’s still a tad too early for that. so i will just start on spring cleaning our home. to help with my spring cleaning i have started a new pinterest board to pin ideas on how to get more organized. now i’m not the best at keeping things organized but i do enjoy trying.

on top of being productive i even made a delicious dinner. apricot chicken, red potatoes, and green beans. yummmmmmmmy. i ran to the store bought some organic chicken for half the price due to it needing to be sold that day, grabbed some steamed green beans from the frozen food section, used the last of our red potatoes that were on the verge of getting too soft, slow cook high for 4-6 hours, and viola, dinner! oh and i made grilled cheese for the boys.

apricot chicken
1 can apricot preserves
1 package of dry onion soup mix
1/2 bottle of russian salad dressing
4-6 chicken breasts

red potatoes
cut into cubes, soften in the microwave
then cook on the stove with some olive oil, pepper, garlic, oregano, and dash of beau monde seasoning.
